For
as long as I can remember I have been dreaming and designing cars in my head. It all started by studying every page of my older brothers
Car and Driver, Motor Craft, and Road and Track magazines. From there I followed in my brother Bob's footsteps in art. Creating page
after page of pictures of cars in every medium imaginable. A skill that would help me later in life.
My
father was a very "hands on" person, I don't think there was a thing he couldn’t do. I spent countless hours studying as he worked
on the family cars and projects around the house absorbing his knowledge. As I developed my own skills and became the same "hands
on" person. I approach all of my projects as a learning experience. From building a book case at a younger age to designing, drafting
and constructing a 700sq. foot addition to my home. Or, starting off changing oil on my Father's M.G. to a 3 year rebuild of a 928S
Porsche.
At Radford University in Radford Virginia I majored in Graphic Art. After college I settled
in the surrounding Philadelphia area landing here in North Wales, Pa. Getting away from my graphics background I became manager of
a national retail leather goods chain. Over a 2 year period I was able to increase our gross sales from half a million in sales to
over a million dollars in sales.
In the early '90's I opted for a career change to the automotive industry.
I accepted a service advisor position in a growing local auto dealer group. I became part of a special team that was used as other
franchises were acquired into the dealer group. From there was promoted to Service Manager for the regions largest servicing Nissan
dealer at the time. Over the years I have strived to maintain a hands on approach, and a strong focus on the evolving technology for
the automotive industry.
Being part of the automotive industry has driven my passion for cars. From
my first car, a run down Triumph Spitfire, to my current cars. I am always looking for ways to make them look and perform better.
Not to correct the genius of their designers but to add my own personal flair.
